You can book 2 types of 8-person semi-detached holiday homes at holiday park Les Doyards. There's only a small road and green area between the houses and the lake (no swimming water!). The centre of Vielsalm can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes.
There's a trendy 8-person holiday home, completely renovated in 2018 (BE-6690-148). The bathroom, kitchen, furniture and the beds are completely new. The furnishings have also been redone and a traditional 2-person sauna was added. It's a comfortable holiday home with all modern comforts. On the ground floor, there's a nice living room and an open plan kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There also is a bedroom with two single box-spring beds. There's also a bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The traditional sauna can be found next to bathroom, in an open hallway. On the first floor you'll find another two bedrooms, one of which with a double bed and a view of the lake. The second bedroom has four single box-spring beds. This bedroom is ideal for children.
You can also book an 8-person holiday home with four bedrooms (BE-6690-149). The interior is finished with lots of wood. You can enjoy a drink on the terrace, with a view of the lake. On the ground floor, you'll find a living room and an open plan kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There also is a small bedroom with bunk bed, suitable for children. The bathroom features a bathtub with shower and there's a separate toilet. On the first floor you'll find three bedrooms, two of which with a washbasin. In two of the bedrooms you'll find two single box-spring beds, which could be in a double set-up. The third bedroom features a double bed.
Both holiday homes have a terrace with garden furniture. You can park at the central parking lot.
A margin is calculated for the energy costs. These may differ at the reception.

Great house for our family of 4. Beautiful unobstructed view and fully equipped. Somewhat noisy and creaky floors, but the unobstructed view made up for that!
The cottage was very poorly cleaned. Still all sand and dirt on the floor. The wardrobes in the bedroom are dirty and the rug was extremely dusty. In addition, there is only 1 key for the bathroom and toilet, which means that only 1 of the 2 rooms can be locked, which is annoying if you rent a house with a group of friends. One of the upstairs bedrooms also has no door, if you come up the stairs you are immediately in the bedroom. The first two mornings the hedge was trimmed at 7:30, etc. in. In addition, the 'holiday park' is very extinct and not so well maintained. Not to be repeated.

Nice house but maximum for 6 people, 8 people would be too much. We had 4 children with us, too bad the bedroom on the landing had no door. This was not stated in the description. Everything else is there, very nice location

Please note when booking a house with "sauna" you will get a house with a sauna that does not fully work, temperature goes up to 60 degrees and you must turn it on well in advance about 4 hours in advance. We are experienced sauna users and know how to deal with this and this is not an optimal working sauna at all. Do not book if you want a well-functioning sauna. Also pay attention to the "Electra". However, the price per kilowatt is extremely high in price. Furthermore, the house is blissful, beautiful view and everything is there, just bring warm clothes or come in the summer everything feels cold and is cold. (we were there during a cold period). Furthermore, the receptionist spoke to us well. However, in our view the owner should not rent this out as a well-functioning sauna house.

Very quiet environment. Beautiful cottage. Everything you need. Completely relaxed. It's just a pity that many businesses are closed at the end of August. But very tasty sandwiches at the station in Vielsalm.

Smudgy, dark, very cold, small, unreachable by car at the cottage, poorly accessible on foot due to very sloping slope.
We have been a week and have enjoyed! The cottage was very clean. Newly renovated and therefore had wonderful beds. A small but modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. A kitchen with induction plate and dishwasher. A large flat screen TV. And if there was anything you could go to Yvonne at the reception and he is very welcoming and friendly! We are still waiting for a refund of our deposit. That's too bad.

We checked in later, were able to collect the key in a safe, was well arranged. However, when we entered the booked house, the mood changed. Absolutely not what we are used to through Belvilla. It was for 8 people, that's right, there were 8 beds indeed, but the shower room with a mini sink and poor lighting was very disappointing. Also the toilet door could not be locked, the curtains were hanging loose and broken, our two-person duvet cover was missing, which we incidentally did not receive anymore and the sauna was also broken. Nothing has been done with the reports about this. Also no closets in the upstairs bedrooms so we had to take our clothes from the ground out of the suitcases.
