Holiday Home La Grange

In our eyes it is a holiday home with a soul. Cosily furnished and feels "warm". You come home after a trip in the area. The house is also well maintained in terms of paintwork and wallpaper. Hygiene is written with a capital letter. There is also a beautiful, neatly maintained garden with garden furniture with more than enough privacy. The hostess/owner of the holiday home answers all your questions in a friendly tone. All in all a bull's eye and worth repeating.

Wonderfully cool house with cozy terrace, enclosed garden in a quiet, small, cozy village in beautiful surroundings with plenty of hiking opportunities.

We received a friendly welcome from the hostess. The cottage is very well located, close to the center and the start of hiking trails. Unfortunately we were kept awake the first night by a marten is in the attic. It is a known problem in the spring, according to the hostess. Moreover, we could not enter the garden because of the excrement that the dogs of the previous tenant had left behind.

December 2022 holiday with family. Beautiful 2 bedroom house. Bathroom compact but doable. Kitchen well equipped with oven, separate microwave, kettle, filter coffee machine, Senseo machine, refrigerator and hand blender. Basic tea, salt and pepper available. Cozy living room with sofa and 2 chairs. Max 4 people it is. Around the corner convenience store with everything you need. Delicious bread. Be sure to check out the cherry-filled waffles.

The house is fantastic, and the village of Weris absolutely beautiful! The people in the Brasserie and the village shop very helpful! A Perfect holiday place! Highly recommended!

Top location for the dog (closed backyard). Enough walks nearby. The house itself is fully equipped and the hostess is very nice and helpful.

Excellently located house in the very beautiful Weris. Centrally located for all kinds of trips. Property meets fine and is clean and well maintained.

House was not cleaned. The owner also confessed this. But we soon found out that there was a lot of dirty. The oven was very rancid, stains on the seat cushions, on the walls and ceiling in the bedroom full of the remains of beaten mosquitoes, cutlery not clean and a musty smell in the house. We cleaned ourselves and lived from the suitcases because everything was dirty. In addition, a lot of problems with flies and this also causes everything to get covered in fly droppings. This was reported and received a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. We have not really been able to enjoy our holiday. Location is convenient!

At a few minutes walking distance there is a parking where you can park for free. Very nice area. There are various walking routes in the area. One can leave immediately from the vefblijf for a walk.

We were warmly received and were extensively informed about the house and environment. Many steps and steps in the house and no toilet downstairs so not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Located in a small quiet village in the middle of nature. Small supermarket and a few restaurants.

Cozy cottage and very nice that there is an enclosed garden. We were received nicely, it was a shame that there was little in the house to "be able to move forward". For example, there was no sugar in the coffee, no towel or soap to wash your hands. Little things that hardly cost any effort and which I personally would put down as an owner to give the guests a warm welcome.

Arrival was fine. Hour too early was no problem. Glad the owner spoke Dutch. Very nice lady and also her husband did his best to make herself understood. Environment very nice, beautiful walking routes nearby. The Obelix supermarket within walking distance was great too.

We enjoyed a pleasant stay in this cottage located in a very nice environment. All accommodations were present (no wifi) and the beds are very comfortable. Small minus the cottage is a bit dark, even during the day you have to sit with the lights on.

Very nice stay! Typical Ardennes house in a picturesque village. Nice walks and also many possibilities for excursions to other interesting places. Accommodation was certainly in order and owners friendly. The people with smaller dogs do take into account that the beautiful garden is fenced, but the dogs can escape between the trees (there is no wire)

The accommodation was cozy, attractively decorated and well equipped.

Kindly received by the owner. House clean and fresh. In case of a car's starting problem, the area was switched on and the problem resolved quickly. Beautiful surroundings and invites for nice walks. Small shop at 200 meters, each delicious fresh sandwich.

We enjoyed it! Bedrooms are very large and were provided with all comforts. The people had kindly received us. The surroundings are very nice and there was plenty to do. Many nice pictures visited. We had a good time with 2 teenagers. We will definitely be back!

A nice quiet village in a beautiful walking area. Excellent house with good facilities, inter alia in the kitchen (both Senseo and filter coffee). Nice host and hostess. Nice seat for the house and in the garden. Ideally with a dog, given the hedge is closed and the large garden. All in all, definitely recommended!

It was a very nice house, well maintained and everything was provided. The owner was friendly and flexible. It is not much to do outside Durbuy with bad weather. But for a long weekend away is ideal.

It was a rustic timbered cottage with a full kitchen it was right next to a main road not very busy but when a truck passed by farmers can be very frightened. The setting is lovely not to ride but to walk and you could all directions to div. a ...
