Valley of the Seven Lakes

The Valley of the Seven Lakes is a true treasure of beauty that you should definitely visit during a holiday in Slovenia. The valley, also called Dolna Triglavskih Valley, stretches eight kilometres between Trenta and Lake Bohinj.
Along this beautiful route, you will discover lakes of all shapes, sizes and colours, including the forest-covered Lake Črno, the largest lake, Dvojno, Veliko, and Zeleno known for its brilliant green colour. A walk along these lakes offers stunning views of the Julian Alps. When you rent a holiday home here, you will never forget it.

Slovenia's caves

Slovenia is known for its vast underground spaces and caves, of which 8,500 are known alone. On the UNESCO World Heritage List are the breathtakingly beautiful Škocjan caves in the south-west, where you can descend up to 200 metres deep and 5 km long. The stalactite caves in Postonja are also well worth a visit!

Popular destination for a holiday home in Slovenia

When holidaying in Slovenia, a visit to Lake Bled is actually a must. Located in the Gorenjska region, this lake is about 35 km from the capital Ljubljana and is surrounded by beautiful nature. The islet in the lake is home to the 9th-century Church of the Assumption of Mary with a golden altar and extraordinary frescoes. You can get to the islet by a traditional pletna boat.
Take a nice photo there!

Renting holiday homes near Lake Bled offers the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the area while having easy access to the many recreational activities the lake has to offer.

Winter sports in Slovenia?

Want to go skiing? Then consider Slovenia too!  Surprisingly good facilities and cosy après ski! There are no real high mountains in Slovenia, but the ski resorts are pretty snow-assured and, not unimportantly, the price level is lower than in the ski resorts of Austria or France.

The best-known ski resort in Slovenia is Kranjska Gora, but there are many more, e.g. Pokljuka, Kanin, Maribor Pohorje. The largest ski resort is Vogel with approx. 30 kilometres of slopes.
