The chalet and the accompanying items have had their best days. Chalet and belongings are damaged and incomplete. After 30 years of use, it may be little effort to freshen it up a bit or at least make it complete. Bathroom screen broken, trash can broken, no oven, table broken, patio broken. Otherwise a nice park, we come there every year, but this chalet is really "on".
Only the accommodation was a bit disappointing
Everything well arranged and a nice environment definitely recommended
Apart from a rainy weather the first 3 days, the region is interesting. Children (3-7 years) are not quickly worried about the rain. Thursday was the most beautiful day.
Vielliot versus power consumption
We have been kindly received. The house was neat, there was a barbeque available and you could really enjoy the peace. Definitely recommended and worth repeating.
Environment was quiet and not touristy. Restful. House is somewhat dated but for Belgian understanding fine. Surprise was the wood stove in the house. Needed because it was pretty fresh.
The stay was reasonable but before the arrival we tried to reach the front desk by their phone number for two weeks and no one answered. So they are not really customer- and demand-friendly. The park was beautiful, cottage was cozy but not really clean and had a dull smell. After leaving and arriving home, we noticed that all our clothes stank to the cottage. It is a dirty mold smell that we did not get after even two washes. I'm happy with the experience we've had there, but not certain content about the moldhouse and about their reception.
Surroundings were beautiful - accomodation good
Tasty settled. The reception was good.
The holiday itself, we have created fun. It's a nice area with lots wandelmogelijkheden.Gelukkig but ... because the reception at the destination and the accommodation itself left much to be desired! We are happy outdoorsmen and were almost constantly away, but the family that would come back to celebrate New Year's Eve with us, has remained at home. Very sorry state of affairs we went dat.Toen check out, we had done our story though a bit on the person who came to check, and by the time we arrived at the checkout, the lady was probably already aware, for a friendly thank-you could already not from ... in short, we as a family enjoyed the wonderful walks, have sought a solution for everything, because we did not want to let our week vacation verbrodden result. We will definitely come back to the Ardennes (as we do sometimes every year), but it will not be at this holiday! Jamais! All reasons for this can be found in the assessment in detail below.
The park is beautiful and the welcome very warmly. The house itself is very simple and not very cozy at first sight. But with the stove and with the right company, it is a nice place. For children there is a playground and a few animals.
The holiday has given birth to us excellent. The cottage was beyond expectation because the specification spot verbose than was indicated when booking. There was even a wood stove. It smelled fresh in the cottage and it was not humid in contrast to the cottage that we had for the first time 13 years ago. The cottage we had booked was even fitted with double glazing. Comfort was fine on the sofa in the living room after. There was bad to dwell on, because the pillows were left on the spot. All in all, highly recommended for the money!
If you go to this park to bring your own stuff to entertain you. There is a super small playground for toddlers and two table tennis tables. At the cottage is a barbecue which we did a few times. It was cozy and nice. On the couch in the house was not sitting, because the cushions kept getting away. There is a mini TV with a whopping two English channels. They used blankets but not duvets that feel very clammy. All the way there if there is any. The sink cabinets did not get out. Doors hung askew and missing shelves. The shower was against it in the bath and very cramped in space but nice. In the village of Oignies was not much to do, and at holiday time. So for fun you better pack your car and start driving. We rejoiced at canoeing, but because of the drought there was no water. Pity. We walked a lot and you can really anywhere there. Green enough.
We were searching and found peace, quiet and a beautiful natural area in this park. Beautiful surroundings with z 'n beautiful green hills and quaint little villages. Welcoming and friendly welcome to the recepetie. Quiet park whose houses are at a good distance from each other so you do not bother your neighbors. Village De Vacances Oignies earned a fat plume and see us back.
Wonderfully quiet, for a break from all the hustle and bustle.
It was quiet spacious but trees so we could not enjoy. Sun
Dutch speaking reception, great house, lovely location in a forest. Something for the nature lover. Close to the French border, beautiful scenery. Nice point is the adjoining outdoor bbq at each house.
Again had a quiet and pleasant stay. Ideal for those who have no need of luxury, but enjoy the relaxation.
For us were the low price and convenient location in the Ardennes important points on this score the park well. Some other points are quiet park, lots of space between individual houses (except semi-detached course). Houses are in fairly dense forest and have small windows, this somewhat obscure when the light is off. For a group of five people, we found an 8-person cabin just big enough, especially regarding size dining table and benches. By car to reach. Heaps of activities within an hour Upon arrival, also a list of activities, restaurants and supermarkets data.
Nice playground, table tennis, beautiful nature. House rather dark but when the weather is no problem.
It was cold weather, therefore we had to pay a lot for electric heating. Then everything came together counted too expensive.
Weekend with friends, everything was fine.
delicious with the dog walked through the woods. A beautiful surroundings lovely cottage. children played fine in nature.
everything is ok, according to what one might expect on the basis of the booking info.
Beautiful surroundings, peaceful park for little money.
Beautiful spacious pitches in a quiet environment. Plenty to do, canoeing, hiking and visiting cities. A trip to France and Luxembourg are doable.
We have been to this park. With our family of seven people in the summer of 2011 The stay was us against what - to be honest - it was also partly due to the rainy weather. The park is very dated: the playground is poorly maintained, the children's farm is nothing. The house was cold and damp and not good schoongemaakt.Het park is quiet. For hikers, it is a good base. The Maas in the neighborhood is very nice.
The design of the park is spacious and the wood, so certainly ideal if you have a dog.
Fine park, beautiful environment, I recommend choosing from new bookers to newer homes
The stay was not very gecshikt for young children. There is no grass around the houses, the houses are very noisy (not useful if the children sleep during the day) and the floor of the cabin was extremely cold, causing creep was more or less impossible. In hot summers, the stay pleasant because there is plenty of shade (the park is located in the forest), but in bad weather it is fast gloomy. The petting (ie, two goats and a donkey) and the playground was fun too, but this does not make up for us against the rest. There is the possibility nice walk. From the cottage
The surroundings were beautiful and the park. The reception was not always open and was even close an entire day. This was stated but I did not find it useful. The house looked beautiful on the outside but inside I was in need of replacement. The eight-person cottage was manageable with 5 adults. Linen was really bad and I had a sheet with a hole in it. Pillows too bad.
Our cottage in Oignies was pretty neat, looks nice, the barbeque in the chimney works well, but it is old, there is not much comfort. It was a good base for our activities in Viroinval and environment, with a guide went through caves, kayaking, climbing forest, there is plenty to do in the area and we had a great holiday.
