Chalet with dishwasher in the green Kempen
Mol, Antwerp, Belgium
Three new types of detached, ground-floor chalets have been finished in Resort Zilverstrand in 2018.
There's a 4-person chalet (BE-2400-12) with two bedrooms, one of which with a double bed and one with two single beds.
There also is a second 4-person chalet (BE-2400-13). This chalet is almost the same as type BE-2400-12.
Finally there's a 6-person chalet (BE-2400-14) with three bedrooms, two of which with two single beds, some in a double set-up. One bedroom has a bunk bed. This type is centrally located in the park and near a playground.
All chalets are furnished in a modern, complete and comfortable way. They feature a bright living room, a modern open plan kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. The beds in the bedrooms, except for the bunk beds, are box-spring beds. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower and toilet. Each chalet features a garden with terrace and garden furniture. The chalet also offers one parking space.
The pool is open from Thursday to Sunday from 11am to 6pm.

The cottage was perfect. The food from the snack bar was bad.
Beautiful large house on a beautiful domain.
A beautiful accommodation and a great environment.
The park is under construction. A large number of chalets / holiday homes have already been placed and these are brand new, fully equipped: kitchen with oven / microwave / dishwasher. Flat screen TV, wifi. Good central heating system, nice and cozy in winter. The garden is newly laid out with grass and shrubs. Every house has a jetty (if they are on the water). The facilities in the park are far below standard unfortunately. The pool is old, poorly cleaned and often closed (during our Christmas holiday). The water was ice cold, because the installations were not working properly. The reception is almost always closed, so if you have any questions, check it out. There is a shop, but this was closed all winter. If you need a loaf of coffee or coffee, you can drive a few miles to Mol. Furthermore, there is actually nothing to do at the park, nothing is organized or something. You walk around the park, you come to the old part, and those are 20-40 year old mobile homes. Was all abandoned, empty, half demolished. A sad sight. It is not clear to us where people want to go with this park. If you do end up here, you can drive to the Postel Abbey, which is nice to see. The restaurant that sits next to it is also good / cozy. You can also go to Maasmechelen village in an hour. The cottage is cozy enough to sit, play games etc. We went home earlier. After five days we had seen it here.
The arrival was somewhat uncomfortable. Reception was fine, well prepared. Only the cottage was not clean when we arrived. This had yet to happen. Unfortunately we had to wait 1.5 hours for this. After that the hyisje was still not clean and did the rest herself. After this we had a nice stay. Cottage was large enough and comfortable. Nice environment.
Accommodation: still very new and a number of things were not yet perfectly adjusted (door of toilet, slide of cupboard, ...). Environment at De Kempen was OK but if you walk a little further around the site then you also have a Polish / Russian not so pleasant zone (?)
