Holiday Home Filly

Cool location House is ok, but needs some renovation. There were dead insects on the windowsills inside. The jacuzzi was not turned on, so we had to wait a day before it was heated up. The infrared cabin was nice, but the floor felt like it could collapse at any moment and the music didn't work. There was a play area for children, but this was a small plastic slide with a broken door. No fly screen at the sliding window, so we could leave everything open, but then we had mosquitoes and flies inside in the evening The people sleeping downstairs complained about the noise from the heating (from the jacuzzi?) The downstairs toilet had to be opened with the door open, otherwise you wouldn't be able to sit comfortably The freezer didn't work, our ice creams completely melted the day after they were put in it. The rooms were good and beds comfortable

There will be a 200 cleaning fee. There was dust everywhere, dirt in the trash can from a previous tenant. The dryer there is not working, nor is the heating in the upstairs bathroom. the freezer does not work, if you put something in it, such as coffee cakes, they are partially defrosted after 2 days. so you can throw everything in the trash. Nothing can be ventilated downstairs, causing a musty smell that you can't get rid of. and then there is the wellness area. When you use the washing machine there is a fishy smell on your clothes, a drying rack would also be useful. You have to switch on the pallet heater at the back, but the remote control does not work, and it must also be left clean as normal (this was not done and an ash vacuum cleaner cannot be found as stated in the folder). We were able to enjoy the jacuzzi and the surroundings. award winner in 2020, 2021 that is being played around in the house would be better removed.

We had a very pleasant stay, very friendly welcome. There are many options to do in the holiday home: sauna (heated up very quickly), jacuzzi (ditto), spacious house, nice relaxation room with kicker table, dart board, Tai fun... point of interest: game table that needs some repairs and heating in that room was a bit less (heated less well and also made a lot of noise). The rest of the house is pleasantly warm. Very cozy with the heaters in the living room. Very nice environment! Nice for walking! We didn't feel like going home!

Nice and pleasant villa, all accommodation available. This was nicely decorated and also because we were there in December, it was decorated with Christmas lights. There is also a cozy room with a kicker, game table with discs, a darts board and a separate room with sauna. Outside there is an enclosed garden with a covered terrace and a beautiful permanent stone barbecue. It must be pleasant to stay there in the summer.

House is in a beautiful location and the garden and living room are very cozy to sit in. Unfortunately, there are many areas that need improvement! to start with there was a problem with the shower on the upper floor, the water would not drain so we could soak up the entire bedroom and bathroom, the water also drained through the floor to the lower floor so we could also clean there. it was therefore only possible to use the shower on the ground floor for the rest of the stay. This was certainly not a nice start to our stay! upon our arrival the house was also very cold, heating was not on the wood that would be present according to the description on Belvilla there was no one to turn on the stove and the remote control of the pallet stove was defective or did not do much, after all Contacted the owner and found the buttons on the back of the pallet stove to operate it. the kitchen was well equipped but the kitchen equipment was very dirty, the coffee maker still contained a used filter that was very moldy, the grill was full of food remains, as was a lot of cutlery that was "clean" in the drawer. If you want to use the BBQ, it is not necessary to bring meat as it is still full of food scraps and is certainly not hygienic. The jacuzzi was nice, but there was too much chlorine in it, causing irritation. Further on in the relaxation room there is an air hockey where we wanted to relax for a while, unfortunately there is no cable anywhere to use it. All in all, this can be a very nice location, but a number of things will have to change/improve to give this villa an award again, especially considering the high price for a weekend with 4 people.

Nice experience in a beautiful location

The house is in a quiet spot on a hill, the view from the living room is beautiful. The house is wonderfully spacious with a beautiful garden. Despite the fact that the weather was less, we enjoyed a week in this house with 6 people. Every day out (there is plenty to do in the area) and "catching up in the evening in the jaccuzi. Highly recommended as far as we are concerned!

A nice house in a beautiful setting. Due to some less good reviews lately, we were a bit hesitant in advance, especially with regard to hygiene. Based on that, we had contact with the owner prior to our departure. He was able to reassure us via email. We were therefore very happy to find that the house was clean and tidy on arrival. The wooden plate in the shower upstairs is less, but otherwise we found the house fine and fully equipped. The basement smells a bit damp and musty, but the children slept well in the bedroom downstairs. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils and there is a good washing machine and dryer. We enjoyed the veranda, the garden, the bbq and especially the wonderful jacuzzi. In short; we had a wonderful holiday!

Beautiful location but the house is a bit of faded glory and certainly not worth 9.2. The reception was downright unkind, the 3rd room was still locked after a phone call I received a catty answer that we were only 4 people, so that's why 2 cameras, but we were not 2 couples, so the adult man slept on the couch for a night until the next day the room was opened. I think the room in the basement is still forbidden, even according to fire regulations, because there is no window or ventilation 🙈 The cleaning is not too good, dirty stains everywhere, fingers and a smell from the toilet wow! First do some laundry and cleaning yourself. Would actually not be more than neat to refund the cleaning money. And the wooden plate in the bathroom is really a no go! Very unfortunate because the house has a lot of potential now actually too overpriced for what you get. The jacuzzi was also lovely and clean.

Was a very nice holiday with a few defects at the house, we passed this on to the owner. So hopefully solved for the next people :)

The house is well equipped, nice beds, kitchen has everything you need and lots of space. The house was clean but there must have been animals before because we still found lots of hair on the doormats and in the house as well. The downstairs area is great, but everything there needs to be fixed. Broken air-hockey, old football, no darts to play darts, etc. Jacuzzi was great and clean. With some fixes this is an absolute fantastic house.

Urgent need of refresh and maintenance… Dining room chairs are used up, "play cellar" urgently needs to be updated .... Darts without arrows, disc table has no air, we reinforced the kicker table ourselves so that we still had something ... Jacuzzi was full of foam and pH was much too high (no products available) Wood would be included, but that 1 ne branch that was there could not be used in the fireplace itself ... In our bedroom, a can of palm stuck in the cupboard with necessary odor residues …. Too bad really, for this price we have already rented other chalets that were worth the orijs …

House was beautiful with many facilities and in a beautiful location, does need a spring refresh but nothing too bad. a minus point was that the game tables downstairs are a bit broken. not least a very complete house.

bad villa, very old and no longer maintained, there is no internet connection, it always cuts out or is not available. The beds were bad, the basement was very cold and not heated, it was very cold and hardly any ventilation in the basement. This should not be rented out as a sleeping area, very cold and no daylight. The shower in the basement near the infrared sauna is not hygienic and the water does not drain. The heaters on the ground floor leave a nasty smell behind, which does not smell healthy. Shower is very old and the towels that are left behind are not clean. The reviews do not match what we found

Nice location, good electric heating and easy seat, sauna and jacuzzi are also nice things. However, wifi worked poorly, although there were amplifiers that we could log on to. These were set incorrectly and did not reach the internet, reported several times and no solution. Beds old and worn out. On arrival the whole house smelled of smoke, a half-burned piece of wood had been placed from the wood stove with the logs, the level of cleaning was not really good either (cobwebs in different corners of the rooms, stove not empty, toilet room full cobwebs...).So overall a mediocre experience due to minor issues that are easy to fix with a bit of effort.

Great house with beautiful views and spacious living room. The kitchen is very well equipped, here you will find everything you need to cook well. The enclosed garden and jacuzzi (for 2 people) were also very pleasant. Our son also thought the slide was a nice addition! Furthermore, the house is in a good location for hiking or mountain biking in the area. There is still room in the garage to store your bicycles. House was clean on arrival :). Bathroom and toilet upstairs can not be locked for safety (works with key). We did not shower in the upstairs bathroom, because there is a not so fresh-looking wooden plate in the douchebak.In the house we noticed that it has been rented out for a long time, there were quite a few (minor) defects (eg broken lights, loose tap, pellet stove broken). Reported a number of things and indicated that it did not need to be solved immediately for us. Someone came to have a look, so it should have been made by now! We were very happy that we ended up with 2 less people, the room in the basement is a bit musty and almost no daylight ... All in all we had a pleasant week, but for this money you don't need a house in top condition to be expected! In any case, excellent value for money for us.

When we arrived at the house we were very shocked and disappointed. We immediately smelled the smell of the dirty toilet, never seen such a dirty house and such dirty sheets. We called the contact number and were told that someone must have been inside and she couldn't solve it until the next day. I don't dare to tell you how dirty the toilets were. We have pictures of the toilets, the beds, even looked under the beds, brr. Went to clean and the kids washed the sheets. We paid €95 for the cleaning and €85 for the bed linen, a real shame. I expect (and demand) that the cleaning amount and the costs for the rent of the bed linen will be refunded to us. Furthermore, I advise Belvilla to remove the signs of the figures from 2017 for this house.

Nice house, only wifi could be better., often falls away you have to go to the basement to make contact again. On arrival jacuzzi defective, took a total of 12 days before it was made. (cause poor communication key holder by not indicating when one comes along came what was agreed with the owner because we closed the main gate in the absence of this due to privacy) Key holder was only available after 15:00 in the event of malfunctions or problems related to her work, but despite all the problems that have been neatly solved by Belvilla, we still have a had a pretty nice holiday.

Nice house in a wonderful location. Nice and quiet, a sauna, a jacuzzi and a beautiful area with lots to do. On arrival the bbq was ready including half a bag of coal and the Belgian beers were cold so we immediately made use of it.Paar tips for the owners: there is some overdue maintenance that actually needs to be done (wooden plank driveway, side of the roof above the outdoor fireplace, wooden decking at the jacuzzi, painting). There is almost no 3G/4G/5G reception, but the WiFi only works in the 'basement' (so in the living room or in the garden there is virtually no WiFi reception. Can be solved by installing 1 or 2 WiFi repeaters or a sturdy router ). We couldn't turn on the TV ("no signal" was on the screen… but we didn't miss the TV). The motion sensor for the outside lighting above the garage keeps ticking (broken) so the lighting does not come on when someone is walking. But we still had a great time!

What an incredibly nice house this is, highly recommended! Incredibly clean, spacious, in the middle of peace and fully equipped. The surroundings and the garden of the house are beautiful. We had a lovely walk in the area and visited nice things. But unfortunately ... the hygiene and general condition of the house were so much worse than our visit 3 years ago; - beds were tightly made, but with dirty, worn-in bedding. The sleep stains (drool / toothpaste on the pillow), dander at the foot, hair and blood stains (on the pillow) were still on the bedding (we have the pictures of this!). The contact person from the cottage was clearly displeased when we called him and asked if the beds had been made and he couldn't do anything for us.. We washed and dried it ourselves on the first evening at 10 pm - The water in the outdoor hot tub already smelled dirty the first night. and chlorine values were not good. There was no chlorine in it according to the test strip and the pH was far too low. The foam that formed when bubbling was green / brown and did not smell fresh. We changed some water ourselves and hoped that we did not - There was a lens from the previous holidaymakers on the bedside table in the downstairs bedroom. There was a broken wine glass with traces of wine next to the bed. Also according to the contact person this could not be the case, because he had cleaned it for sure . - The B esteklade was full of dirty cutlery, with the leftovers still on the knives. There were also hairs and crumbs in the cutlery drawer of the previous holidaymakers. Not tasty. Then we haven't even mentioned the greasy lip prints on the glasses. So, next to the bed change the first night, also put all the crockery and cutlery in the dishwasher. The oven was also very dirty, all kinds of caked food residues were on the rack in the oven. So we did not use this. - The drain of the sink in the bathroom upstairs did not drain, it was completely full of hair and other filth. - The Belvilla site states; incl. bath linen, heating wood and kitchen linen. We got 1 towel

The residence is in a very quiet location and the cottage is very cozy. You are not bothered by noise. The dogs had a good time too. There are several hiking trails nearby. It is quite a drive to visit a restaurant out of season . We were satisfied

A wonderful stay in Filly near Houffalize. A large detached house with lots of privacy.Extra luxury options sauna, jacuzzi and cozy wood stove. Lovely location, beautiful area with excellent walking routes. The cottage is lovely, but some areas, such as the downstairs space and bedroom, smell a bit musty, maybe the house is a bit damp or is used less. Everything else fine!

Wonderful holiday in a beautiful holiday home.

The house actually had everything you could wish for. The location is really fantastic, from the backyard you can walk to the beautiful Nisramont de Barrage in less than 20 minutes, great for strolling around with the dog. By car, all necessary facilities are actually a stone's throw away, such as restaurants, boulangeries, butcheries and supermarkets. When you come home to the house in the evening, there is room to relax, enjoy the sauna, then in the jacuzzi and your day is complete again. An absolute must. a side note; it is very humid in the house and certainly in the basement.

Very nice house with all the trimmings, very friendly welcome and the necessary explanation of how everything worked. Very neat house well maintained, beds made on arrival with fresh sheets and a towel package for each. House is well fenced so that dogs could not leave. We really enjoyed it and definitely want to go back. In case of problems, also well helped and always very friendly. Fun activities in the neighborhood a must is definitely going golfing between the cows at ferme la koeune was super. Shops at + - 15 min drive in houffalize which is also a pleasant village.

The house was everything we could wish for. Lots of air during the day. "Cozy lighting in the evening. A pellet stove as additional heating. Good beds. Beautiful spaces. We arrived and we were kindly received and shown around. We immediately felt at home in the house. A good atmosphere, appearance and everything. Very good explanation received on arrival! Everything is provided in the house. We mainly enjoyed ourselves in the jacuzzi and the playroom. The only thing that is really missing for us is a good fence. We had to look for our dog (alaska malamute) a few times because he had escaped. So from day 2 we always kept it on a leash in the garden. That was a disappointment, but on departure it was told that there are plans to place a fence. Then we will certainly come back with pleasure)

It was lovely to stay in this cottage. We came for walking and relaxing and our expectations were surpassed! It is wonderfully cozy and spacious enough so you do not get in the way either. Comfortable and clean. Everything in order to be completely away. Definitely recommend!

We have rented a house through Belvilla more often, but this was by far the most complete and luxurious we have had until now. We were very kindly received by the owner of the property. We were given a tour where everything was explained briefly. Everything has been thought of, beds made up of beds, complete kitchen with everything already present (coffee, dishwasher tablets, tea towels), jacuzzi at the temperature, fireplace inside and outside, BBQ, cellar with games and infrared cabin. We, couple with young baby, its a mid week was last week in this house. The friendly owners gave us a brief tour and everything was clear. A little more clarity on hiking trails in the vicinity had been fine. Indeed, there are plenty of walks from the house but you should just be able to find here was between houses. The house itself to us was a bit disappointing after all the reviews on luxury and modern design. It's a great house, but do not expect luxury and certainly not modern decor. Biggest downside of the house we liked the fact that there is no central heating. In the bedrooms, the temperature was 10 degrees "at night and it was freezing not even outside. There is an electric heating available, but that makes the air extremely dry. All in all a great house but value for money is somewhat disappointing. We had luxurious expected based on the description and reviews.

Arrival feels a bit like coming home, property offers all the comforts for a relaxing stay, nearby offers to everyone a bit, hiking and mountain bike trails are nearby the house. And our dog was also fantastic to be defined in the enclosed garden.

We had a wonderful stay with our children, their spouses and our grandchild of less than 6 months. The accommodation was more than perfect and has definitely surpassed our expectations. We stayed in Filly during the Carnival holidays. It was not easy again, but the possibilities in the house made a lot of good. The Jacuzzi, sauna, rain showers, various possibilities to use wood, both inside and outside, more relaxed places, gourmet set, large stone bbq ect ect. Even a dishwasher, very nice! .. There is also downstairs in the garage an air hockey table and an electronic darts board. Also in the living room is a box div games. In short there is really thought of everything in this house. There is a nice little town nearby, called La Roche .. Go there certainly just go! Price \/ quality ratio is really just good!
