Nice and quiet village near Bouillon, which is within walking distance if you like walking. Clean and well-kept house, very complete too. Friendly owner. Well worth it.

What a lovely house and the enclosed garden is great. Very spacious and our dog can hop around without us being afraid of losing her. You can completely relax here and the surroundings are beautiful.

We are from June 10 to June 17 with 2 people and 1 dog in this house. Reception was pleasant, owner spoke Vlaams.Huisje met the expectations. It is located in a quiet residential area. The living room is bare and not very cozy in terms of decor. Fortunately we have good weather and spend most of the time outside. House: old farm from 1750, stay with your great-grandmother. We stayed there with the two of us and our dogs. The pictures on the site are misleading: small kitchen where you have to eat, small lounge with 6 armchairs. Okay for 2, but much too small for 6 people and 2 children. Bedrooms are large, but that is of little use to you. If the weather is nice and you are outside a lot, it is a good house, but in bad weather you are in a dark house with small windows and a view of the wall of the neighbors. There is a shower downstairs adjacent to the kitchen and a bath in 1 bedroom. When you shower, there is no water above. The region is very beautiful, beautiful views, brisk walks.

We have spent a very pleasant week in the holiday home. The owner was quickly on the spot when we arrived. He is very friendly and speaks Flemish. If you want tips about the area you will find a lot of information in the house but the owner is also willing to tell you where you can go. The house exudes an authentic charm. And even if you stay in a farm from 1750, you have everything needed and in very good condition. The village itself is very quiet. Handy that there are supermarkets, bakery, pharmacy, ... Bouillon and small villages such as Rochehaut, Frahan, Botassart, ... are a short distance from Noirefontaine. The walks, the beautiful nature, the delicious food ... made us happy every day. We went home satisfied. And not only us, by the way, our dogs too.

I informed the owner by telephone just after our arrival and a few minutes later he was already on site for a clear explanation, an extensive tour and the administrative formalities. Chez Geoffroy is a very old house with very low doors (beware tall people!), But there is at the right. The kitchen is very well equipped. Each floor has a toilet and a bath or shower (which can not lock!). The wood stove for the delicious heater can hold free from the garage. And it's clean. If you're looking goings on there you should not go. It is a place to unwind. Beautiful scenery, gorgeous views. On an evening walk we ran two deer bump, but the boar, we have seen only a lot of footprints.

Happy holidays had in a quiet village just a stone's throw away from Bouillon. The house is fully equipped and the owner is helpful. Good house, large and equipped with everything. Myself and my brother (+ 1m85) still had to stoop to get through the doorways. But we knew this so no problem.
