Cottage La Romaine

It was a nice stay. House was neat, clean and comfortably furnished. We slept well. A very nice walking area. And also a wonderfully quiet environment. If you are looking for a place to stay in this area, we can definitely recommend this.

The house was very beautiful. Very quiet location and yet not far from everything. Everything you needed was there. The garden was also completely fenced so that the dog could not leave.

We had a fantastic week in this small but nice and very romantic house on the edge of the forest. Everything you can imagine is available in the equipped kitchen. Parking is also provided. Lovely, cozy cute cottage! Get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the peace and quiet. We lacked nothing!!! Highly recommended for couples who want to make some time for each other. For 4 people, the house might be a bit tight if you have to sit inside in bad weather. But when the sun shines, you can also catch a dash of sun in the garden with a beautiful view! We'll be back!

Very well kept holiday home with all amenities needed for a peaceful holiday for 4 people. Only downside is that you need the car for everything. Durbuy is 15' away by car and in the village of Bende there is really 'nothing'. Nearest bakery is 5' by car.

We are +/- 2.5 years, visited the 2nd time at this beautiful location. Christiane, the hostess, who lives close to the house is the kindness itself. It also feels right at home in this chalet. The walls had meanwhile received a new coat of paint, there is parquet floor in the living room and furniture was replaced. The area is ideal especially if you have a dog. The house and the hospitality was very good. also for our dog six months was a really nice experience. Nearby are a lot of walks though you sometimes have to go with the car driving (not usually far). a 10-minute drive from Durbuy and there it was just Christmas, really worth it !! All in all good weekend but we had bad luck with the weather, eight degrees and lots of rain. But we made the best of it.

The friendly owner has done its best to "La Romaine" a romantic spot to make. The weather allowed it to use the new back garden where you can sit in the nazonnetje. Beautiful kitchen, fully equipped. Durbuy is near, you should go for a ride for children. Wonderful holiday in this beautiful house!

Lovely house, beautifully decorated, comfortable. Cozy and atmospheric. In the area there is only the city of Durbuy with its picturesque streets and houses. In order to see something more you need a drive that was no problem for us.

We had a wonderful week in La Romaine! The photo "s, it looked all nice, but really it was more fun, very cheerful, beautiful old elements in the house so that" n 200 years old , and yet with all modern conveniences. We have enjoyed a week in the Ardennes near Durbuy. Quaint villages, quiet and space for everything you want.

A wonderful week in La Romaine: very warm welcome, fully equipped, lovely garden and beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Above it is a bit on the low side, so long as we set (1.80 and 1.85) have the whole week walking around slightly bent.

Our stay in La Romaine was delicious. The attractive cabin makes you feel right at home. Apart from the seat of the house there is now a paved town built on the back. That was when we were just finished and the grass was yet to grow. Due to the bad weather we did not enjoy. All in all a topaccomodatie.

This holiday was a top choice! The cottage was so cozy that you feel instantly at home. The combination of the old, rustic cottage with modern new kitchen and bathroom was very good. So you had the wonderful atmosphere of an old cottage but with all modern conveniences. We had a wonderful stay!

We have ten days in an excellent holiday staying. Kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped. The neighborhood is nice and quiet (you do not have city dweller). Both bedrooms are ruim.Het cottage is less suited for tall people (> 1.90). In the village itself is nothing to do, there are no shops or cafes etc, but at 4 km is a larger village with shops, supermarkets, and even a friterie kebab thing. At 15 km is Durbuy, a larger town with all kinds of amenities, nice square, quaint little streets, and located on the Ourthe, where many adventure and sports activities are possible.

We have here a very pleasant stay. it was good that the entrance of the garden also could be closed, because our son of two wild often reach the street. There was not much traffic, but if there was traffic than they could best hard drive sometimes.

With my family (2 adults and 2 children: 4 and 1.5 years) in La Romaine, I spent a long weekend. It is a nice and cozy house, where you immediately feel at home. The owner has a great sense of color and detail the arrangement provided. Upon arrival there were a dish of chocolates and a bottle of wine ready. Very thoughtful! The living room, bedrooms and bathrooms are tiptop. The kitchen provides absolutely all comforts (oven, microwave, dishwasher), but in terms of style, a bit dated compared to the rest of the house. The bathroom however was to me just renovated: beautiful! For people with a baby / toddler: a camping cot fits the left corner behind the bed in the "nursery." In short, we are praising this cozy house in the Ardennes and can recommend it wholeheartedly!

A warm and cozy cottage. With many original features. The living room has a sofa moderate, making the area less pleasant happening. The kitchen is really a bit older, but fully equipped. Until a fryer with fresh oil! The bathroom is really delicious! And the two bedrooms are nicely decorated and have comfortable beds. With views over the weilanden.Kortom a wonderful holiday where you can really relax.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Romaine! A beautiful, cozy small house which certainly meets all daily needs. We slept well and the dog enjoyed the (closed) tuin.Spijtig that no shop nearby (at least 4 km by car). Yet repeating!

Characteristic, very attractively furnished house. Friendly and helpful hostess and central location in the middle of all the fun places in the Ardennes.

It is a cozy old house with modern touches. The bathroom was the paradepaardje.Ook the presence of a dishwasher fell in smaak.Er keep in mind that gang on a 15 km from Durbuy is quiet but it is there all the way and that is a bonus to the crowds as redeemed to be.

Cosy romantic cottage! Everything has been thought of! Peacefully located in a beautiful area. Tall people should be a bit on their head match up here and there we have it good time had.
