6 person holiday home in Hejls

On a slightly sloping plot you will find this exclusive holiday cottage with sauna and ocean view. The house was renovated in 2013 with exquisite materials and furnishings. There is a PlayStation and an energy-saving heat pump. Relax in the sofa in front of the wood-burning stove or enjoy the covered part of the large terrace that has a sofa and a slate wall to create a special atmosphere.

With our family with 3 small children had a great holiday. Hejlsminde is a very quiet place with a beautiful beach. Water runs very shallow, ideal for small children. In the village itself little vetier, 2 restaurants and a snack bar, that was enough for us. The house itself was disappointing. On arrival the cottage was not really clean, as is so often the case. The deck outside was very old, 1 of my children had a splinter after 2 hours, some screws were sticking out, some boards were loose. The playhouse in the picture is as rickety as anything, it is about to collapse, I couldn't let my children play on it. Just take a shower..... unfortunately, there is enough hot water for 3 showers, but there are 5 of us, so take a nice cold shower for the last 2. The sealant edges were old and completely moldy.... bah... Then sleep well...... not so, all beds are bad. Too small with dirty mattresses. The sheets from the sheet package don't fit well, every morning I just lay on the mattress. Not very hygienic. Then roast a nice piece of meat on the BBQ ... not so, it was as rancid as what. There was still half a pig stuck to the grid..... so first scrub for 2 hours. Cottage was generally messy, kitchen and crockery old and worn. In short, great holiday in Hejlsminde, but we will go to another house next time.
