Holiday Home Am Astenberg

It is a beautiful house within walking distance of ski slopes and bus stop to go to Winterberg. 5 spacious bedrooms with 3 excellent bathrooms. The house was clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. We will definitely come back again.

Bad experience unfortunately, a pity that there were not more recent reviews of this house before we went to book. The only positive thing about the house is that it is ideally located. Cross the road and you are on the (small) slope. You will also be in Winterberg in no time, where there are even more ski areas. You can easily park 2 cars in front of the door, the drying room for your ski clothes / shoes is very nice. The house itself is very poorly maintained. Various door handles are broken so that the doors cannot be locked (not nice if you are with 2 families are in 1 house, a child was even locked in a bathroom because of this), a wardrobe is about to collapse (which also happened, the door fell out), the cupboards in the kitchen are hanging crooked, the laminate or tarpaulin is loose, a bathroom upstairs has little water pressure, so you have a miniscule trickle of water, chairs are falling apart, wallpaper is peeling, cove near the curtains is falling apart and there is an unbearable smell of sewage coming from the laundry room on a regular basis, probably from the wells that have already been taped. the mattresses of all beds except 1 very very soft with pits and the pillows are not actually pillows. Everyone had problems with their back and neck, even the children. The house is also not really clean, in all corners and behind doors still dirt and dust on the floor. And the biggest annoyance was that the TV did not work (NL TV did not) and that there was no WiFi as it was stated. The WiFi signal is so bad that it cannot be used. We immediately received a Chromecast from the manager on the first evening after he had spent an hour with the satellite, but he could not connect to the WiFi either, so unfortunately. If you book this house with 2 families: the house is noisy, keep this in mind. In short: the price-quality ratio is not right. House needs maintenance.

Nice house with a nice layout. German country style.dining room chairs near the table are very rickety. Not all bathroom doors can be locked. The fridge smells really bad, as if there is a cadaver somewhere in a place that you can't reach., We have kept food in an electric cool box, because it is too dirty to keep it in the fridge. Hygiene in the kitchen is on the edge. The barbecue is too filthy to handle.

The accommodation was clean and exactly as described on the website.

Beautiful setting, and a ski lift opposite us. that is good to know for the winter.

house could not be that big or in the pictures, everything is present, the bathroom could be better is outdated, shower upstairs was not in order but everything else was good. A plus was the tickets for free bus, train and discount on attractions very pleasant.

Spacious apartment with enough rooms and also bathrooms and toilets. It was good to do with 8 men.

Nice spacious house, plenty of space for the bikes, enough furniture for 10 people, spacious bedrooms and good sanitary facilities and outdoor seating with good seats, just some traffic noise but everything else is fine.

Great and big house where nothing is missing. Nice large garage, and a basement with washing machine, dryer and dryer closet. Prime living room and kitchen with own own space. Bedrooms and bathrooms are perfectly fine. Surrounding area is beautiful! We will definitely be back here.

Very uncomplicated arrival. Helpful staff and great area. Holiday house well found. A small start package with cleaning cloths, kitchen utensils and toilet paper would have been nice. We had for 8 people 2 rolls of toilet paper and no taps and had unfortunately only once.

The key we finalize pick up one block away, friendly and just great, the house is superb, looks neat and spacious. Fully equipped, not new but it provides good, clean and good.

This house used as a base during a weekend motorcycle ride in the beautiful surroundings of Winterberg. In the immediate vicinity of the house there are two restaurants where it was gorgeous.

We met with 10 people to a birthday party here. We especially enjoyed the beautiful living-dining area has fallen. Very tasty and with enough space, we felt very comfortable here.

What a nice house and a good location for our planned moutainbike routes.We will definitely come back

What a beautiful home! Five bedrooms, three bathrooms, luxury alom.Met Grandpa and Grandma and their two daughters with husbands and children had a great long weekend!

For a group of 10 motorcyclists we have a weekend in this villa vertoeft.Het house is fully equipped and you will really nothing to kort.Het only downside was the Garden furniture here and there need replacing is.De messages we have in Winterberg done at Lidl. Which 3-minute drive to find is.Voor us it was nice that fit all engines in the garage under the house!

The intention was to take a nice vacation, but less pleasant circumstances.

Weather was not a good four days of rain, living rooms were fine just a TV too little. After 5 hours, until the Germans programs found. (Only NL description.) Upper toilet area doors are not locked.

We were a troop of ten people who meet regularly around this time every year. This year Winterberg was my turn. We had a very nice weekend in the house and everything was there that was needed for Selbstverorger. The weather played along and we had a lot of fun even without snow.

Beautiful spacious house. Only the hall had a strange sewage like air at that time. But otherwise totally fine. Nice location, doing fun things around great restaurant (Gasthof zur Post) with super ministry within walking distance. Definitely worth a recommendation!

Great house, great neighborhood. Housekeeping could have been slightly better. Further fine!

We were ten of us. Seven of these have beautiful walks, and three beautiful motorbike tours. The house 1s very enjoyable, firstly because there were three bathrooms. The beds are fine. It was also nice that you could eat well all together at one table, but you can own just withdraw, without having to go straight to you. Room The area is very beautiful and the people are hospitable. We were met people in a place away who were engaged in the Easter fire, but we could sit down and it was so mooi.Ook we had a delicious dinner at a restaurant across the road.

Of course, no snow, but with the grandchildren on the slopes and off office. They hebbem no snow needed. Although the location of the cottage in winter sports is good. Right across the slope. The house was big enough and has ample all facilities. The mattresses in one room were not good, but for the rest it was a great weekend. It is close to Winterberg and the toboggan run.

Fine holiday address. Great location with the ski. Slept in that it "was very quiet at night. Children were nice sled in the garden and enjoyed making many snowmen.

Beautiful spacious house with all equipments. Great location. Books t / m Sunday afternoon was not possible. As a result, we actually overpaid (tm booked Monday morning, but Sunday afternoon around 17 pm we returned back key)

We have really enjoyed the house Am Astenberg, fully equipped. R nHeel nice bathroom, and a cozy sitting area in the kitchen where we have used a lot. R nSchitterende environment where you can enjoy day trips . Winterberg a bit boring, Willingen is r nveel cozier, highly recommended.

We have the house with 7 adults and 2 children and rented the house was plenty big with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. There was a large table where we could have breakfast together and a large bank where we could sit. S "evening The area was beautiful and much nicer than expected. A number of offers mountain bikers rented and beautiful routers in the area driven, especially our a must! yet not seen so much so we definitely come back!

For the first time in Neuastenberg but here we will certainly return. Location of the house is top, directly on the slopes and ski rental companies. The house was very clean and adequate rooms (5 and a small one) and bathrooms (3). Ski 's you in the garage, so that you do not stand in the hall. Neuastenberg is a fun ski and surprisingly inexpensive refreshments. Basically, top holiday and definitely suitable for and (long) weekend.

It was very successful. The house is amazing and was perfect. Location is great, 5 km from Winterberg and ideally a ski slope in front of the house. And of course we had a perfect weekend, because the ski slopes were sat just opened.

The house was perfect for our family. Spacious, cozy, in a beautiful setting. A large garden eromheen.Alles what we needed was there. We were lucky with the weather tremendously. Around 22 degrees. And in October.! In short, a place to remember so maybe we come back.

Am Astenberg is a good base for active people. We rented the house with a group of mountain bikers, some trails lead to the house. The house is well equipped, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a garage.

The house is beautiful. You're not each other's way. Enough space for iedereen.De garden goes up, which is very inconvenient if you want to play football or other ball game doen.Er is no microwave in the house and that can be a loss.
