Description

Ellscheid is a small village located centrally in the Eifel, a short distance from the Volcano Lakes. In this village you find this luxury apartment. The apartment is located on the ground floor and all doorways are at least 1 metre wide. So it is also suitable for disabled people. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, each with a bathroom and a sofa bed for 2 extra people. If you want to relax after a day of walking and exploring the beautiful nature, this apartment is great
From the apartment, you can walk several beautiful hiking trails. The nature is magnificent in all directions. Vast fields, dense forests, and small villages characterize the Eifel landscape. Many walking routes run through this beautiful landscape, which you can start directly from the house. It is well worth exploring the Volcano Lakes. The Schalkenmeer is located near Schalkenmehren or the Pulvermaar near Gillenfeld, where you can also swim when the weather is good.

The town of Daun is one of the 'bigger' places in the region, and there you will find shops, restaurants and cafés. In Daun, you also have a museum dedicated to the Volcano Lakes. The Gossamer Slide (only in summer) is a spectacular experience. With children, the wildlife and adventure park Daun is a must. Here you can find a collection of special animals and a nice playground.

On your mountain bike, you can go to the trailpark Vulkaneifel. You can follow various trail paths down or back up and the surroundings make it a very special experience.

For a day out, the Moselle is great to visit. Sports enthusiasts can even go there by bike via the Maar-Mosel Radweg. The Moselle has a very different charm from the Eifel. Known for its vineyards, which you can taste in many locations
