We were received very friendly and initially everything was fine. Until the evening the sewer in the bathroom started to stink terribly, we flushed it and it pulled away, we reported it and she came but then of course it didn't stink later 2x the same but resolved itself.Verder it was good, nice location wonderfully quiet and nice walk Too bad that the bed seriously creaks.

Beautiful and quiet holiday home with a beautiful view. The decor is good and spacious. Only the kitchen needs some modernization. Beautiful walking environment and within reasonable distance by car there is much to see. Nice and spontaneous hostess.

Although arrived early, we were warmly welcomed and immediately taken to our vacation home. The accommodation was very clean and functional, which gave us a comfortable feeling. In particular, the fireplace contributed to .... The location on the edge of the forest promised a lot of peace and relaxation. From here you could start many walks (but please take hiking map, as some signposts were missing).

Nice house in very quiet area where you can walk well. The - elderly - owner is a sweet person. Handy to take into account the interior is really dated to our standards, the bed (actually two single beds) is quite short and the living room has only ceiling light. In the kitchen we missed a teapot and a cheese slicer, but perhaps not well searched. If you want to go to the Bach / Luther / Goethe cities, a car is indispensable here (for cyclists, the hills are too steep, unless you are semi-professional).

The landlord welcomed us warmly. We were very surprised about the beautiful location of this holiday home. What a peace, space and privacy! The cottage was clean, comfortable and very spacious for two people. The wooded area offers many opportunities for a nice walk. Do take a walking map, because the hiking signs are sometimes missing at crucial points.

We had nice days in Altenfeld. The reception was fine and warm. The cottage is spacious for 2 people and (almost) everything you need is available. As usual we missed a cheese slicer, but that is just a typical Dutch thing that you have to bring yourself ... The environment of the house is beautiful and very quiet. We walked wonderfully and hardly anyone met. Directly from the cottage you can walk very nice. The cottage has a large garden with lots of sun and privacy. The finite disadvantage we found that the bed was too small. If you are longer than about 1.90 meters, you do not fit well ... fortunately it is wide so you can lay down diagonally ... Also the door frames and height of sink and countertop is not very suitable for tall people. But we did not suffer much because we had great weather and have been out and about and my husband was lucky he had an excuse not to cook and wash ...

The cottage is very complete and very large for 2 people. We had nice weather and lived alot.

The finish is very mountainous, the house is completely free on a big field (neatly mown), the decor is somewhat dated to our concepts. Furthermore, it was clean and tidy.

The cottage is fantastic you have a beautiful view. Directly from the cottage you can make lovely walks in all directions. You got your car is not necessary for there. Ideal location for people who like walking and like their privacy. The chalet is located in a narrow and very steep street. Owners live on the same plot, but still out of sight. They have access to their home through another road, giving you another almost never encounter. From the chalet you can start walking on foot.
