The French owners, next door, respect your privacy but offer support if needed. The house has comfortable bedrooms, a spacious bathroom and a recreation room with pool table. Plenty to do!
During the summer months, the French countryside comes fully alive with charming markets and famous 'vide greniers' (flea markets). The evening markets are like culinary feasts with local delicacies and maybe even a dance to the lively music. Explore the area with fairy-tale castles along the Dordogne or Lot rivers, taste the wines of Cahors and Monbazillac, browse around Sarlat's Saturday market, or relax on a terrace and let it all wash over you. There is plenty to discover!

Our stay at La Faysse did not live up to our expectations. Although the setting was as described and the owners very welcoming, the condition of the accommodation itself left a lot to be desired. There is a lot of damp in the accommodation, which can also be seen in the condition of the wallpaper. The bathroom also lacked cleanliness, particularly the cupboards, and the shower cubicle is from another era. The overall cleanliness of the accommodation, especially in the second bedroom and the room with the pool table, was not impeccable. The rental is clearly not worth the price paid.
I think that the price is too high for the services of this house because it is not a detached villa it is a lower house the interior is very old it has no garden and the owners are there even if they are very nice We had a great holiday
