Saint Emilion is 1.5 hours away and is the wine capital of France. Visit the old center with medieval streets, cozy squares, and wine-tasting rooms. Of course, you can also buy good wine there!
Monsegur, Marmande, Sainte Foy la Grande are a 20-minute drive away and well worth it!
Also, visit Bordeaux, which is 1.5 hours away. On Sunday mornings, the large food market along the canal is well worth going to. In addition, Bordeaux has the largest shopping street in Europe!

On arrival, we were very warmly welcomed by the owner. Everything was thought of! Upon arrival, the basic needs are already waiting for you (soft drinks, bottle of chilled rosé, a few cold beers). Superb living room with beautiful fireplace. The modern kitchen is lovely and cosy and really everything is there. Nice crockery, good wine glasses, spices, pans, you name it and it's there. The bedrooms are spacious and tastefully decorated and equipped with good box-spring beds. The grounds are spacious and everything is very tastefully done. You immediately feel at home here. Since this region is also prone to hailstorms, it is very nice that the car can be parked under a covered roof. In short, a wonderfully luxurious and relaxing stay!
