Description

A very nice house with modern décor and lots of charm!
The house is bright and in addition to a spacious living room, has a well-equipped kitchen with 2 spacious covered terraces where it is lovely to sit in high summer.
There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. There are sun loungers around the pool and hammocks hanging between the trees in the garden. There is also an outdoor kitchen with gas barbecue for long evenings of enjoyment!
Set among the vineyards of the famous Cahors region, not far from the Lot river, the house is located on a hushed road.
In the large, sheltered and well-fenced garden, there are plenty of deck chairs, hammocks and sitting areas to enjoy. The swimming pool was recently built and is well maintained by a Dutch manager

We had a lovely week at maison Majolie. Beds are good, pool is lovely and with an outdoor shower The garden is large and fenced, our Great Dane was able to run around, play and rest nicely here.... The canopy with outdoor kitchen felt like Valhalla, because you don't want to live inside here in summer... sink with tap and gas BBQ make it possible to actually cook outside here. If you like peace and quiet and crickets and not shopping but beautiful nature, you really need to go here! Tip: Put the pool chairs out in the open and watch the night sky, never seen so many stars p-rach-tig! Cahors disappointed us because after a 45-minute search and trying several car parks, we couldn't find a place to park our car. So after that, we went to Saint Cirq Lapopi!!! And that.... that really comes highly recommended, what a beautiful village! Many beautiful photos taken there.... A must see.... Leave early in the morning as it is an hour's drive and even there it is very hot and crowded on the day The dog can come along just fine, they are very dog-friendly here. Ohhh and even though it's 35 degrees, the air conditioning is NOT missed here, the house is and stays cool.
