Beautifully situated, completely new interior, hospitable excellent care.

From June 12th to 26th, 2022 we were guests in the holiday apartment forget-me-not. Already on arrival we were extremely pleasantly surprised. The apartment no longer corresponded at all to the pictures known from the description. The rooms were completely renovated and redecorated, as well as completely furnished with new, very beautiful handcrafted furniture. As far as the equipment of the apartment is concerned, everything you could possibly need was there - nothing was missing! Starting with the most modern TV and entertainment technology through to every conceivable kitchen utensil - everything is there. The location of the apartment was very convenient, at least for our needs: there was heavenly peace day and night. No street noise, no crowing roosters at 5am and if our own dog (King Charles Spaniel) didn't have to "call our attention" to visitors from time to time, no barking dogs either! Our hosts were also extremely friendly and ready to provide information at any time. And her family dog (Labrador) got along very well with all the guest dogs (3). We can't say too much about hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity, as we have always looked for hiking tours that are a little further away. And since the weather also played along (only 1 rainy day, but a few times over 30°C) we had a very nice hiking holiday with our dog. A big thank you to the Zitzelsberger family from the Grundmann family in Oppach.

We felt very comfortable. The apartment was very clean, nothing was missing. The kitchen had everything you could need and the beds were comfortable. We ordered bread rolls from the landlady, who was very nice, and they were ready for us every morning in front of the entrance. After the daily hearty breakfast we were full of energy to explore the beautiful Bavarian Forest. We also wanted to use the sauna once, but canceled because we saw and hiked a lot every day, and were simply too tired in the evening because of the wonderfully fresh air. We are still raving about this week long vacation. It was wonderful.

Absolutely complete apartment with very nice and prudent landlords, a bit out of the way but quiet and idyllic. Great for hiking and relaxing. If you like glass and crystal, this is the right place for you.

We were kindly received by the homeowner. Also a warm welcome for our dog. There were food bowls ready for her, with her own towel and a bag of treats. The accommodation is great and the surroundings beautiful. You do need a car to be able to do trips and shopping.

Just like last year had a great time here. Dear people who are involved. The cottage itself is fully equipped and very spacious. Even outside of plenty of space, in the evening you can sit in the evening sun on the terrace. The internet did not work well last year (yet), but it was all right. You can even order fresh sandwiches from the owner every day. The surrounding area also offers plenty of possibilities for close proximity, and some further excursions, in the neighboring village of Bodenmais, are plenty of shops and restaurants

In the Bavarian Forest, we had a great holiday, beautiful area for walking and cycling. You have to keep climbing as there may be a lot of altitude to be overcome. Our hostess welcomed us with cherry cake and a bowl of cherries from the garden, delicious. In the house all kinds of maps and area information available.

We had been on the site considering all the good reviews, some almost too good to be true, but nothing is overdone, both the location and the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, everything was above average in order, and indeed on Sunday there was cake for us ready, on Wednesday automatic Linenchange, never so well experienced in order. A small minus the WiFi did not work they were doing.

We had a tough year behind us and wanted Recreation a little with our dog and we were in the Fam us. Zitzelsberger really. It was nice decorated for Christmas, so we felt immediately at ease. There were un restricted rest and butt house we were able to run the same through the meadows with our dog, it was a great weekend getaway and we could not find anything by the attentive hostess what would we like. Had a lovely holiday, the apartment lacked nothing (ok, maybe a dishwasher, but eating out is in the immediate vicinity also not expensive). In the other reviews is nothing to be said about the hospitality of the hostess. We like very much our privacy and that she feels perfectly. Beautiful surroundings also brilliant uitzichten.Wij are not very sporty, but with the car you can also fine all the villages in the neighborhood. Most distant trip was to Regensburg, but that was to do. Further visited Dessendorf, Arnbruck (with extensive glass collection, the best of the glass street in the region, we think) and Bodenmais tourism. On the last day use is made of the special train in the Waldbahn region. We should have done earlier.
