A good but small holiday chalet. Don't expect luxury. Good beds, and it was very nice that there were good window screens and blackout shutters on the windows. There is plenty of space around the house to sit outside, as well as plenty of chairs and benches. We enjoyed the area, nice and quiet and also plenty of hiking trails from the house.
The apartment was as described, everything you needed was available (including wood for the fireplace). The location is nice and quiet by the forest. Unfortunately, the promised television didn't exist, but the cozy evenings in front of the fireplace make up for it. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a very clean house.

Lovely cottage, with wood everywhere in the area. Or close (walking distance) is a small town with beautiful half-timbered houses for the necessary shopping and tourist. The wood burning stove was perfect!
We had a wonderful mid week break in the Harz. A beautiful area that has much to offer for nature lovers. The cottage provided all the facilities we needed. The owner gave us a warm welcome and making us feel welcome immediately. We will definitely come to the Harz Mountains.
We had a nice holiday. The house is very complete, neat and clean. We did not find it 's spacious cabin, but did not much bother us as we went out there on a daily basis. All around the house for children is not much to do. Instead, there is in the environment more than enough to do. We have plenty of hiking, swimming (there are several bosbaden in the vicinity), gerodeld, rowed and towns examined.
Had a wonderful holiday. Holiday has excellent position to take. Trips Tranquil environment.

Really enjoyed. A compact, complete cottage on a beautiful, quiet spot. Helpful owner who made sure that the cottage was heated, when we arrived in the fresh autumn.
Welcoming reception, wood fire was burning when we arrived. Good explanation of the cottage and the surrounding area. Wonderful location with beautiful views. In case of self catering to 4km away EDEKA located in Ilfeld drive for groceries. Well equipped! Tourist brochures in Neustadt and instructions for walking, self-service pack. Walk eg EN (naturlehrpad) walk.
