This beautiful holiday home is located on a small forest park with charging station for e-cars in Garderen. It is just steps away from Hoge Veluwe National Park. The accommodation offers magnificent views over the fields and forests, and a wood-fired sauna and hot tub (limited wood supply - more available for a fee). From the garden, enjoy a cup of tea and an unobstructed view of the picturesque surroundings. Lovely! Bathroom is completely new ( January 2024)

Beautiful location. Cottage was neat and clean.
Nicely cared for house. Very steep stairs up, though. Renewed bathroom was nice. We unfortunately did not get the wood-fired hot tub warm.
We were made very welcome, as were the region and the country in general. The villa is great, and the garden with sauna and spa are a real bonus. The bedding is comfortable. There is everything you need in the surrounding area. There would be some parts or equipment to renovate but this is just a remark not a reproach. We will return with pleasure thank you

We liked the cottage and had a lovely time. Also in the hot tub and sauna. Nice that there was enough wood.
We searched for a wellness cottage but ended up not being able to use the wellness( sauna and hot tub) The intention was that we should heat it ourselves by wood fire but due to absence of good material, it did not work out. Logs too big, no small wood available and no good material to grab/arrange the wood in the stove. While we did spend a whole afternoon with it but the fire kept going out. Sauna was also not really clean lots of soot present on the low bench and floor while there were still some half charred blocks in the stove. Furthermore, it was badly cleaned, gas cooker was very greasy and dishes dirty in the cupboard. The location of the house is nice and quiet and the living room contains a lovely large sofa. Too bad there is only 1 toilet which is also in the bathroom. Actually too little for a 6-person house
We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Kolibrie in Garderen on the Veluwe. The region has a lot to offer: endless hiking and cycling, but visiting cities like Harderwijk, Amersfoort and Apeldoorn are also among the possibilities. It is a spacious house with a nice living room with a large sofa and a cosy dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped. For lovers, there is a sauna and hot tub in the garden. The house is on a park, but is located at the very back of the park, giving you a wide view over the countryside.
