Chalet Resort Kaatsheuvel 5

We were warmly welcomed and had a cottage in a nice location. Europarcs Kaatsheuvel is a beautifully landscaped park with very nice cottages. We had a 6-person cottage. Unfortunately not very clean and there were a few points. The fridge is much too small for 6 people (we were with 4 and it was even too small for that) so you have to go to the store every day for groceries. The sitting area was for 3 people, a 2-person couch and an uncomfortable chair. And there were some small things missing such as oven gloves (and that is handy if you have an oven ;)). The swimming pool is dated and does not fit in with the rest of the park that is super beautifully landscaped in terms of planting. The indoor pool was closed so we did not see that. Furthermore, there are nice playgrounds and air trampolines for the smaller children and a mini golf course. The entertainment is disappointing, because there was little to do. Especially for teenagers/adults. In front of the bar you can sit outside and there is a playground for the children so very nice. The food there was also great! We did not eat in the restaurant so we cannot say anything about that. Despite these points, we enjoyed the holiday. With 20 meters we were in the forest with a beautiful pond so the dogs enjoyed it too. The surroundings are beautiful. Within a 10-minute drive you are at Bosch & Duin in the Loonse and Drunense dunes and in Chaam you also have beautiful forests with swimming facilities for the dogs. And of course a day at Efteling is a must. All in all, we had a great time and we definitely recommend this park!

Very nicely decorated residence. Close by you have the Efteling and behind the domain is the start of a beautiful nature reserve with hiking nodes. Ideal as a family, something for everyone.

We had a beautiful modern house with a spacious jetty on the water. The kitchen had a dishwasher, an oven, a combination microwave, large fridge, a large freezer with 3 drawers and a spacious induction hob. had grown over and some new houses were built in the area, but that was clearly indicated in advance. Behind the park you only have to walk a hundred meters before you are on the Loonse en Drunense heath.

Great park with beautiful surroundings. Greenery is neatly maintained with the exception of the processionary caterpillars. These are too much present and (in my opinion) nothing is done about it. Definitely recommended because it is clean, tidy and friendly employees.

Everything is beautiful and new. However, there is still work on the park. For a 6-person house it is tight and only 5 seats inleefruimte.Eettafel has 6 chairs.
