Restyled apartment on the Markermeer
Volendam, North Holland, Netherlands
This restyled, semi-detached holiday home is in Marinapark Volendam.
On the ground floor you'll find a living room with smart TV and an open plan kitchen that includes a dishwasher and microwave. There is also a separate toilet. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. Two of them each have two single beds (which can be arranged as double beds) and one has three single beds. One of the bedrooms has a TV. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. There is also a separate toilet. All beds are single box-spring beds.
Outside you can enjoy a garden and a balcony with garden furniture. You can park one care near the house.
The final cleaning and renting of bed linen are required it you're staying during the Volendam Fair (first half of September; see the internet for the exact dates).
At Marinapark Volendam you can book various apartments for 4 to 12 people.

The apartment was very dirty and many of the furniture were broken. Before we were in the wrong apartment. That was an oversight, but the question is: why did our keys work in another house? Definitely expected something different for the price.
Nice park, nice houses. It is a pity that the houses are quite sober in terms of decor. They were also not very clean, the bath still had shampoo from the previous visitor, cobwebs in many places. Volendam is also a nice village.
We had a great time in a beautiful house at first glance. During the stay, however, we encountered some maintenance and cleaning issues. The crockery was not clean, probably due to a less well-functioning dishwasher, which was quickly repaired after we "complained" about it. Then he did it a few times... Our son asked: "Why is everything broken here?", referring to a dent in the door, lamps that didn't work, etc. As said: it was a good time, we would still want to go back to this park, then rather in another house.
Great house and a nice holiday park. There were three of us in a 7-person house (offer) with 2 dogs. On the 1st floor it is a pity that you have to climb into a high bath to take a shower. There is a "normal" shower on the 2nd floor. The socket behind the bed of the 3-person room was broken. I read that in a review somewhere before. So this is still not done. The area is beautiful and it is close to the center of Volendam.
The place is very nice and the people who work here are very nice. It's a great vacation spot and I'll be back.
House was not really clean, everything else is okay

Arrival was fine, checked in quickly. In the house were many cobwebs and many small flies, but after 1 phone call they immediately came to clean. The area is very cozy, everything is within walking distance. Only the Japanese restaurant at the park was exclusive and very expensive, we were hungry and did not look carefully in advance, so no success for the children. Furthermore, super cozy park at the marina.
