Chalet Resort Markermeer 4

Beautiful view and a very comfortable house. The cottage (nr 45) is beautifully situated on the water. Unfortunately there is no ladder directly into the water, but 200 meters away at the reception there is. It can get very hot but at the end of the day it also cools down nicely. Beautiful location with beautiful views over the Markermeer.

Nice accommodation, nothing to criticize.

Had a wonderful stay with our 4 kids and the dog, there is plenty to do in the area and the cottage itself is clean, spacious and practical, worth repeating!

Booked a last-minute cottage for 6 people during the autumn holidays. Upon arrival we were immediately enthusiastic. Nice location, and a modern and clean park. With 4 small children under 6 and a dog, the spacious house was really nice. Not entirely designed for the children (open veranda and garden), but with all that water nearby you will not easily lose sight of them. There is (too) much to do in the area, so the week has flown by. We will definitely come back again.

Sypermodern house by the sea

Accommodation is very nice on the water, is well furnished inside but also "bare" and basic. No welcome pack (or are the toilet roll, mop and garbage bag meant as ..) No extra change for beds, no towels. Everything has to be rented with it. In the cottage it made its way through the crack at the front door and patio doors

Even if we were an hour early, we were warmly welcomed. We were not allowed into the house yet, but at least we parked our car in front of our house. The hour was also fast, because we went for a walk in the area. A very nice and quiet place. At 3 pm we were able to pick up our key without any problems.

A bit difficult to find, but when we arrived we were immediately enthusiastic about the location of the park. We think the cottage with deck and scaffolding is great! Nice house with nice furniture.

Arrival was good. A view of the marmermeer from the terrace with its own dock into the water! Furnished with love. Environment great for cycling. Nice town next to it !! The only drawback road right on the park along. Not so disturbing with the houses by the sea

Well received.Park was difficult to find but had a nice holiday. Good stay right on the lake.

We had a premium house for 6 people over Easter. The view of the sea was gigantic. The house has everything you need and is well equipped. Everything was clean on our arrival. In Bovenkarspel, can buy everything you need for a carefree stay. We would go back anytime again. 👍👍👍👍

Beautiful directly on the water and a luxurious homely decor

It was a quick search to get to the resort.Pretty reception at the reception, we felt really welcome, Accommodation was of the comfort level what was promised. View over the Markermeer was breathtaking. Missing it already at home. From the resort you can go all directions, Den Helder with its interesting Maritime Museum, Enkhuizen with its beautiful Zuiderzeemuseum and Medemblik with its cozy center. The route to these places do you every time be amazed by the beautiful vistas on the water with their little boats near the houses.

the house was not finished yet, the entrance door was almost unopened at our arrival and was very difficult to get locked again. The tiles in the shower room had not yet been joined, so water came into the other part of the bathroom. The flame of the gas plate received too little gas flow so that it could only be used very limited. Small bedrooms.If these points are resolved the accommodation and surroundings are in order.

The arrival was complicated to find, the accommodation itself was very nice, yet we would have liked an air conditioner or a fan because you could not stand it at higher temperatures. In addition, mosquito nets / Mosquito doors would be helpful since you had to close the doors and windows from about 21 o'clock, it would be silken with thick spiders and small fly animals live together. The area itself was very nice, the park has a lot for children, what me is very important. Nevertheless, we found it a pity that there is not the so-called beach 🤷♀️ but only a lawn, where you over a jetty at the restaurant is in the water. The solution of the garbage is in my opinion the poorly regulated as there are 3 small containers for the entire park and after a few days the bags had to be placed next to it. The opening hours of the reception is getting used to 2 days a week 🤷♀️ in my opinion too rarely open. Was missing was a possibility in the evening something to drink ... there is a very nice outdoor area from the restaurant in the evening, although well lit is closed 🤦♀️

We would receive very friendly. Everything was explained to us. The key handover was simple and straightforward. The house itself was spacious, and clean. The environment was also very good. We would come back next year.

First of all the positives - the cottage, the location right on the water, the surroundings, the possibilities in the area, value for money great (price was significantly reduced). The negatives - the resort is still under construction (but we knew that) Location right on a main road (it is to be hoped that a noise barrier will be built), too little dishes (the dishwasher would have to run after every meal), well cleaned was not (dust under the bed, shower with hair clogged). We had a great holiday, so the positive overall has therefore clearly outweighed. The children could bathe spontaneously, because right on the water. The water was long very flat, also very nice. The environment has much to offer.

Customer-friendly receptionist. The view of the Markermeer is sublime. The provincial road along the resort is a horror. If there is no noise barrier, the chalets along the road are actually uninhabitable. No Belvillas mar Helvillas. The first three nights actually did not sleep. It looks like trucks and motorcycles rip right past your pillow. Fortunately, we were able to go to a chalet directly on the water for the remaining four nights. That saved our holiday.
