Here, you will celebrate holidays in the beautiful border regions of Friesland, Drenthe, and Groningen. Activities range from visiting the hunebedden and boating in Friesland to climbing the Martinitoren. You will stay just outside the village of Haulerwijk. Haulerwijk is an excellent place to go shopping. In terms of catering, there is something for everyone. There is a pizzeria, a Chinese-Indonesian restaurant, a snack bar, and an al-la-carte restaurant.

Gronningenstad or the TT-circuit in Assen is easy to visit from here. Next to Assen is National Park Drentse Aa, where you can discover the Drentse heath cows and admire the largest sheep herd in Drenthe. And rest now and then to enjoy the local produce
