There is plenty to see in the immediate vicinity. The coastal town of Egmond aan Zee is located on the North Sea, in the province of North Holland. With its extensive sandy beaches and atmospheric promenade, it is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. You can enjoy relaxing walks through the dunes, a refreshing dip in the North Sea or a visit to the characteristic lighthouse, which has graced the coastline since 1834. The village has an authentic atmosphere with cosy streets, nice shops and several eateries where you can enjoy fresh fish dishes and other local delicacies

The location is great, the view is beautiful.
The house on the edge of the village has a great location. The northern dune landscape is very beautiful. However, you don't see or read anywhere that it is actually in the backyard. The house is rather spartan, only one bedside table for four beds, the kitchen exhaust does not work and there is not one big pot for cooking for four people. Cleanliness was great, the bathroom good. The car park in the courtyard is very troublesome to park and the cleaners park you up or block access so you have to pay to find a parking spot forever away. And all the neighbours come by with their rubbish, which is dumped behind the house.
