The location of the house is ideal for discovering something new every day. There are good hiking trails close to the house where you can explore the surrounding nature with its rich flora and fauna. You can also set off by bike or mountain bike. With the Gaula, you have an excellent river for fishing nearby. A few metres down the road you will find a footpath with direct access to the mountain with many hiking trails to the east towards Sweden. A short drive takes you to the Ålen ski centre, a great and versatile alpine resort with well-groomed slopes, separate children's slope, forest slopes, freestyle park and restaurant.
