Charming cottage from the 19th century in Halltorp (Kalmar municipality) with shared garden. The cottage has a beautiful bedroom with three beds where you have an open space up to the roof ridge. Open nicely furnished living room with dining table, comfortable chaise longue and sofa bed for two people. Kitchen of simpler standard, with bench stove, 3 plates and microwave. Bathroom of a simpler standard with wc, sink and shower. You have a large garden of 4000 square meters which is shared with the house owner, a nice family with children. There is outdoor furniture here, slightly hidden from view in front of the house. Leashed, child-friendly pets are welcome. Please note that smoking is not permitted in the cottage or in the garden. An unmanned shop is located very close to the cottage. If you want a bigger store, there are in Söderåkra and Vassmolösa. You have Halltorp's beautiful medieval church up close to view. You also have Stufvenäs Gästgifveri with fantastic food and a nice spa where you can enjoy just the day. It is only 5km to sea bathing in Ekenäs and 8km to a wonderful, shallow white sand beach called Fulvik. Popular Villa Famiglia offers taste experiences in a Mediterranean environment. Värnanäs is a manor house with extensive park facilities. Here is Engelska Parken with its lush greenery, nice walking paths, ponds and bridges. The Värnanäs archipelago nature reserve is an area of sea east of Halltorp and is considered one of the most important places in Sweden for harbor seals. If you're lucky, you can see them. In Germundslycke there is a well-visited farm shop. For those interested in nature, there is also the Stufvenäseken, which is Småland's second largest oak with a circumference of 9.7m. You have 30 km to Kalmar with its large cultural, shopping and restaurant selection. Here you have the astonishing Kalmar Castle, which is well worth a visit. The children usually appreciate Skälby Gård with its animals and playgrounds. Also, don't miss driving over the bridge to the "island of the sun and winds" Öland, which is a must-visit. Here you also have Öland's Zoo with its animals, funfair and water park, which is popular for children.
