beautifully situated in the mountain landscape, sunny terrace with views of the mountains. The chalet is equipped with all necessities.

I have stayed in this chalet before, first when my wife was still able to come along and then on my own. My wife was later unable to attend because of her Alzheimer's disease. My experience is the same every time. It is a small chalet, actually a mini chalet, with a living room and bedroom at the same time thanks to the construction of a folding bed. Previously - I presume - children could also stay there because there is a kind of floor above the bathroom and can be reached by stairs like with a bunk bed. I don't know if that is still possible. I don't see a mattress there anymore. The interior is simple, not luxurious, but the necessary facilities are available. It is always clean and tidy on arrival. There is a south-facing terrace in front of the chalet. Sitting there in the sun is wonderful in the fall. Due to the size and furnishing, the rent is still very reasonable. The hostess and hostess are cordial. Because of her Dutch descent, the couple also speaks Dutch. The chalet is highly recommended for - I think - couples or singles. It is probably too small for families with children, both small children and teenagers.

Super nice hosts and there is so much to discover and hike here. The views are fantastic. Yesterday we discovered our accommodation from a height of 1200 meters :-)

Very warm welcome, uncomplicated landlord. Well located for various hikes. Absolutely recommended. We liked it a lot and we want to go again. Everything perfect.

Not necessary, because I've been there several times. Accommodation is simple, but adequate and tidy. For Swiss standards, the accommodation has an attractive price. The location is fortunately not in a super tourist environment. Perhaps placing a microwave is a good addition.

The house was a bit difficult to find, but after a phone call we turned out to be very close. Accommodation was great. The area was beautiful.

The cottage fully met our expectations. It is located in the quiet village of Kandergrund, from where you can make all kinds of day trips. The mountains in e.g. to Kandersteg or to the beautiful Thunersee. Many hiking opportunities. The cottage is not very big but for us big enough. From the living room you have a beautiful view of the mountains, The owners are friendly and speak Dutch and German. We were very pleased and very nice that our dog was also welcome.

Very nice cared for house. However, no indication on the way of the house number. Friendly owners. Location is perfect. Close to Blausee ... and from Kandergrund you can take the train to Italy ...

It is a great home. Not big, but very cozy and everything is there. The reception was surprising for us because the Swiss son welcomed us in Dutch and helped us very well. Very quiet even though it is on the main road to Kandersteg. No inconvenience. Good walking opportunities and public transport. Environment gorgeous !!!!

We were very well received on arrival and the accommodation was fine.The surrounding area is beautiful and many hiking trails are nearby.The owners are very friendly and helpful.

We consider the Internet presentation of this destination as rather misleading Freistehendes holiday home / chalet with living room / bedroom, kitchen with corresponding photos. In reality ists a 1-room apartment on the upper floor with wardrobe bed and overall even for 2 persons very little living room. Positive very friendly host family.

We walked a lot and little use of the car. The trails begin almost at the resort. For further trips around the location of the cottage is a good starting position. The kick after the holiday is not perceived as a nuisance. This way you have a nice view of the surroundings. The owners are very friendly, Mrs speaks Dutch and gentleman only German but understands Dutch well. All in all a very enjoyable holiday for two weeks.

We enjoyed our holiday in Switzerland, super hospitable owners of property Stöckli. We got all the detailed information available in order to plan our vacation. Well For us a week was certainly lacking even though we did not have great weather every day. In the house everything was there that you needed. Delicious no TV, but wifi and a radio so you could check news and weather. We did not need more. In short, for us a great holiday!

We had a nice week. Nice sledding. Visited three jobs. In Elsigbach we liked best. However, steep road to it. Fine advice from the owner. Unfortunately too warm for this time of year. (Mid-January) and not much sun. But above there was enough snow. Cottage was fine. The bed in the room was not a problem. Could you fold up if you wish. Was easy. Space enough for 2 people. We had a wonderful week here. Very nice owner (Dutch speaking) who like to give tips. The cottage is small but cozy and equipped with all comforts. It's bed is moderate. Also from within views (white peaks). Outside the cottage also good for each other. Privacy and tidy. The location is ideal to make close to many attractions. Trips Highly recommended.

Good base for walks and tours in Switzerland

We have had a valid week. Very much enjoyed the house and the area. Repeating!

Unfortunately it was during that week alternately bad weather, with rain also has been on the road all day. Once the weather was Niessen on the train for a breathtaking 360 degree views including Jungfrau, Munch and Eiger, Lake Thun and Vosges. Tip for slechtweerdag: by train to Bern, beautiful city and largely covered walk along the shops. Another tip: the photogenic Oeschinensee, with the elevator and then the whole journey first to Obergürgli and then descend to Kandersteg, fairly long hard trip but beautiful. The Kiental is brilliant. Regarding the stay: very warmly received by the Dutch-speaking (or verse alone) owners and children.

The valley and the surrounding mountains offer great hiking trails, the welcoming hosts have accurate maps of the accommodation for the guests and give you good advice - and to local restaurants. We have (with our dog) the week very much.

The holiday in Switzerland was very calm giving many beautiful walks in the area.

We were welcomed very friendly and were very nice tips where you could walk quite fun etc. We had a fantastic lookout mountain views from our cottage and lots privaci already lived the people next to us. We like to go again we enjoyed.

A neat, well maintained cottage in a beautiful area. The owners are friendly and helpful but without violating your privacy to do. Especially recommended to people who love peace and tranquility. (Kandergrund is really a small mountain village!). Locality is also a good base for walks and challenging mountain bike trails, with stunning views as a reward in this immense mountain.

We had a wonderful visit to the mountains, staying in Stockli. We were welcomed very enthusistically, with lots of excellent information. The views over the mountain were spectacular and we had a fantastic time expoloring the area, with some beautiful untoched valleys and tranquil mountain lakes. Really an unforgettable trip!

Lovely cottage. You will have complete peace in that country and fragrant environment. No TV helps there too sure when. We have gain parameters postage, all surrounding ski resorts are fine to travel by car (about 15-20 minutes).
